Celestyal Olympia offers two informal options; Leda and Aura Grill. Leda is a self-serve buffet open throughout the day and late into the evening. Popular with families and couples, Leda is a laid-back space with open-air tables for those who wish to enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine. The Aura Grill opens during lunchtimes when the ship is at sea and offers a choice of burgers, hot dogs and gelato ice cream.

Passengers dress casually during the day, with comfortable excursion clothes being the norm. Evenings are equally low key; most women wear sundresses while men wear collared shirts. There is one formal night per cruise (except on the three-day cruises), where the outfits ranged from beaded jackets and black pants or sundresses for women, and sport coats or collared shirts for men.

Exterior Staterooms at deck 3 and 4 (~11 sqm) can accommodate up to 4 persons with 2 lower beds, 3rd /4th berth, bathroom with shower, air condition, telephone, hair dryer, safety deposit box, TV and a window. Celestyal Olympia operates three- four and seven-night cruises exclusively in the Greek isles and Turkey, visiting both well-known and out of the way islands -- often two in a day. Oddly, despite the rapid pace, the cruise never seems hurried and there always seems time to explore at leisure before the ship heads off to the next port of call. Many passengers use it as a way to pack several Greek isles in a few days.

Before rebounding the ship, take time to enjoy the scenic seafront promenade and the town’s impressive Grand Bazaar. Our wonderful 4-night Iconic Aegean cruise gives you the perfect opportunity to explore a captivating feast of ancient history, authentic cuisine, Greek culture and stunning vistas. Our ships are medium sized which means they can visit ports that larger vessels cannot access, allowing us to offer unique smaller and almost undiscovered destinations in our itineraries. Onboard, our guests get to enjoy a more cosy, homely atmosphere and a less crowded affair and therefore the highest standards of customer care, comfort and personalized service.

Final Thoughts on Celestyal Discovery
Greece’s soul is warm and relaxed, so that’s exactly what our authentic experiences capture. Our adventure begins in the ancient city of Olympia – birthplace of the Olympic Games in 776 BC and one of the most important sites in antiquity. Sit down to an authentic evening meal and enjoy specially selected drinks to go with it.
As part of Louis Cruise Lines re-branding in late 2014, the ship was renamed Celestyal Olympia with an updated livery, to reflect the new corporate identity.
Chill in the relaxing lounges and watch the sunset, embrace the company of other guests in the bar or sip cocktails looking out over emerald waters or looking up to the stars. Life onboard the Olympia is more than a cruise – it’s an experience that invites you to indulge in our Hellenic heritage. Relax with a refreshing drink in the ambient lounges, indulge in sumptuous authentic cuisine or take advantage of our excellent onboard facilities, you will never be lost for something to do. Our view is if you want to see a lot of the islands in just a few days and enjoy an authentic Greek experience, Celestyal Olympia is excellent value for both your time and money. Exterior Staterooms at deck 2 and 3 (~11 sqm) can accommodate up to 4 persons with 2 lower beds, 3rd/4th berth, bathroom with shower, air condition, telephone, hair dryer, safety deposit box, TV and a porthole. Onboard the magnificent Discovery, culinary delights await you at every turn.
Our dedicated hospitality team know how to make every meal a delicious experience so let them take your taste buds away. Discovery has four dining venues, the main two dining rooms being Thalassa Restaurant and The Taverna which are free of charge. Lunch service is pretty identical between the two, both offering a solid buffet of around a dozen stations most of which varied daily and always included Greek specialities. Thalassa is the more formal and dinner is a la carte with waiter service. Food was good quality though portions were on the small side, but bear in mind you're not restricted to one pick per course.
The ship is small by today's standards but seemed clean and some refurbishment was ongoing. There is no central atrium- everything is scattered on the top 3 decks and minimal, but there are only 1200 passengers so it was mostly manageable. In September 2014, Louis Cruises announced the company is launching a new brand with an authentic Greece cruising experience. In 2015, the two ships, Louis Olympia and Louis Cristal, were branded Celestyal Cruises and renamed, respectively, Celestyal Olympia and Celestyal Crystal. Celestyal Olympia's itinerary program was based on 3 and 4-day cruises to the Greek islands and Turkey.
